Briana was known as a devoted and loving mother. Her world revolved around her 7-year-old son, Amill McClelland, whom she loved with every part of her heart. Friends and family describe her as caring, strong, and full of love—someone who would do anything to protect and provide for her child. Her laughter, her kindness, and her nurturing spirit touched everyone around her.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, tragedy struck in her southwest Las Vegas home. In an unimaginable and heartbreaking moment, young Amill woke up to find his mother in a life-threatening condition. With courage far beyond his years, he called 911 for help. By the time officers arrived, Briana and another man were found deceased, and authorities are investigating the case as a double homicide.

The pain of this tragedy is indescribable. No child should ever have to experience such a moment, and no family should have to endure such a loss. Briana’s life was taken violently and senselessly, leaving behind a young son who will forever carry the memory of his mother’s love, and a family and community shattered by grief.
