In Loving Memory of Dillon Jones

At just 25 years old, Dillon’s journey ended tragically in a devastating accident involving a train in Robards, Kentucky, leaving family, friends, and the entire community in shock and grief.
On Monday afternoon around 4:15 p.m., emergency crews were called to the area of Anthoston Frog Island Road, between Smith Staples Road and State Road 1299, where Dillon’s vehicle was struck by a train. Investigators believe he may have been attempting to cross ahead of the train when the collision occurred. Dillon was pronounced deceased at the scene. While no one on the train was injured, the loss of Dillon has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Dillon was more than just a name in a news report—he was a son, a friend, a loved one, and a soul full of promise. He carried with him the hopes, dreams, and ambitions that come with youth. Those who knew him describe him as kind-hearted, full of energy, and always willing to help others.
