🕊️ In Loving Memory of Cheyann Paige Anderson (2002–2026)

With hearts full of sorrow and disbelief, we remember and honor the life of Cheyann Paige Anderson, a beloved daughter, mother, and friend whose life was tragically taken on January 29, 2026, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Cheyann was only 23 years old, and her passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of her family, her young daughter, and everyone who knew her.

Born on June 12, 2002, in St. Mary’s, Maryland, Cheyann grew up with a bright spirit and a gentle heart. She spent her school years in Florida, continuing her education through the end of 11th grade before graduating from Porter High School. From an early age, Cheyann showed a kind and caring nature, always finding joy in helping others and making people feel welcomed and valued.

Cheyann later began working at McDonald’s as a cashier and server, where her warm personality and genuine smile made a lasting impression on customers and coworkers alike. She took pride in her work and loved serving the public, believing that even small acts of kindness could brighten someone’s day. To many, she was a friendly face, a compassionate soul, and a young woman full of potential and hope.

Above all, Cheyann was a devoted mother. She cherished her two-year-old daughter, who was the center of her world and the light of her life. Cheyann dreamed of building a future filled with love, stability, and happiness for her child. She carried the responsibilities of motherhood with courage and tenderness, always striving to be the best mother she could be. Her love for her daughter was deep, unconditional, and unwavering.

On the morning of January 29, 2026, deputies were called to Cheyann’s residence in the Whitehorn Cove area after reports of an unconscious woman. Tragically, she was found deceased on her front porch, her body bearing severe injuries. Investigators later stated that evidence suggested she had been brutally assaulted. Her boyfriend, Christopher Zwirtz, and her roommate, Roberta Slagle, were arrested on assault charges as the investigation continues and the medical examiner determines the exact cause of death. The circumstances surrounding her passing are heartbreaking and deeply troubling, and her loss has shaken the community.

But Cheyann’s story is not defined by the tragedy of her final moments. She was a young woman with dreams, laughter, kindness, and a future that should have been filled with years of love and possibility. She was someone who mattered, someone who deserved safety, peace, and happiness. Her life had meaning, and her presence brought warmth to those around her.

As we mourn Cheyann Paige Anderson, we also celebrate her life—the memories she created, the love she shared, and the gentle heart she carried. We remember her laughter, her kindness, her devotion as a mother, and the quiet strength she showed in her daily life. Though her time on this earth was far too short, the impact she made will never fade.

To Cheyann’s family, friends, and especially her precious daughter: may you find strength in each other, comfort in the memories you hold, and peace in knowing that Cheyann’s love will always surround you. She will live on in stories, in laughter remembered, and in the heart of the child she loved so deeply.

Rest in peace, Cheyann Paige Anderson.

You were loved. You mattered. You will never be forgotten.
