A 2001 Ford Escape traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with a 2018 Subaru Outback before striking a wooden power pole. The impact was severe, and five occupants of the Ford were rushed to Nebraska Medicine with life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of first responders and medical staff, Felicia Warner and Nyaguk Bel later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The investigation remains ongoing, but nothing can ease the pain of this tragic loss.
