At just 40 years old, Halley’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Halley was involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Road and State Route 303 shortly before 9:46 a.m. While traveling north on State Road, her 2018 Ford Fusion failed to yield at a stop sign while turning west onto Route 303 and was struck by a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado traveling east. Despite the efforts of emergency responders and medical personnel, Halley was transported to Brunswick Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.

But beyond the headlines and the details of that fateful morning, Halley Woodward was so much more than a statistic or a report. She was a daughter, a friend, a loved one, and a bright light in the lives of many. Her presence carried warmth, kindness, and sincerity.
