On Friday night, just before midnight, Louisiana State Police responded to a devastating two-vehicle crash at the intersection of LA 1032 and Hunter’s Way. According to authorities, Cayden was driving east on Hunter’s Way in his 2008 Honda Accord when he attempted to turn left onto LA 1032. At that moment, a 2022 Ford F-150 traveling south struck his vehicle on the left side. Despite being properly restrained, Cayden suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver sustained only minor injuries, and investigators reported that impairment is not believed to have played a role in the tragic incident.

Cayden was just 18 years old—a young man full of dreams, potential, and hope for the future.
