Zeljko Janjetovic Death; Tractor trailer crash on I-64 in Norfolk leads to death of driver

Virginia State Police said that one person died in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer incident on Interstate 64 westbound at Chesapeake Boulevard in Norfolk Friday morning.

Zeljko Janjetovic, 58, of Gloucester Point, died when his 2019 Kenworth tractor-trailer veered off the road and into the gore area around 8:45 a.m., according to State Police. He was transferred to Sentara Leigh Hospital and eventually died.

Next of kin has been contacted.
