The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is actively investigating a domestic-related shooting that occurred in the city of Truman
An ongoing investigation is underway by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) into a domestic-related shooting that took place in the city of Truman on February 27, 2025, at around 6:14 p.m.
Deputies arrived to a report of domestic violence in which a female adult victim had been shot in the chest with a firearm.
For treatment, emergency medical personnel took the sufferer to a hospital. Her health status has not yet been made public.
The suspect, according to the authorities, is Kyle Jonathan Liford (DOB: 08/31/1992).
It is thought that he is driving a green 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with the registration plate NVU 782 from Minnesota.
Liford’s current location are unknown.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged by law authorities to call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office at (507) 238-4481.
Deputies secured a firearm at the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.
Based on preliminary findings, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
