When they arrived, they found a vehicle that had struck a building. Inside, lay Teron — fatally wounded by gunfire and no longer among the living. Despite the brave, immediate life‑saving efforts by law enforcement and emergency responders, including CPR, Teron was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was found inside the vehicle at the time. 

Investigators believe the shooting occurred before the crash, though the exact circumstances of how and where the gunfire happened have not yet been fully released. Forensic teams combed the scene, painstakingly collecting evidence and piecing together the moments that led to this senseless loss.

Mayhall of Tremont. Four minor children were passengers in the Kia, and tragically, Gavin Boswell was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another child was transported to Red Bay Hospital, and two more were flown to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis for treatment. The crash is still under investigation.
