Oshaun Smith Death; Victim identified in Wednesday night Jeanerette shooting

Iberia Parish officials verified that a man was killed in the shooting. He was recognized as Oshaun Smith, 22, from Jeanerette.

The Jeanerette Police Department stated that Church Street and Pellerin Street are currently closed. The neighborhood is currently an active crime scene.
