Michael Bernard Death, Obituary; Retired Lieutenant Michael Bernard Passed Away Unexpectedly.

Saturday evening we were devastated to hear of the passing of retired Lieutenant Michael Bernard. LT Bernard served the Bedford Police Department for over 22 years with honor, loyalty, dedication, and pride. He began his career with us in 1998 and retired in December of 2020 and stayed with us as a Special Officer. He was a staple in our Community Policing program and a pillar in our community.
We know LT Bernard was loved by so many, and we know we are not alone in the pain we feel from his loss.
We want to extend our condolences to his family and friends. This one truly hurts, Bedford NH Police Department said via facebook post.
