Justin Finley Death, Obituary; West Bridgewater Public Schools Mourns Passing of Beloved Educator Justin Finley

We regret to inform you of the demise of a cherished member of our school community. A longstanding and devoted teacher in our district, Justin Finley, passed away.

As an exceptional art instructor, Justin has been motivating kids for over 20 years. He started his career in West Bridgewater in 2001.

Numerous pupils were profoundly impacted by his love of teaching and creativity, and many of them attribute their artistic development to him. For many years, Justin served as a committed junior class adviser in addition to his position in the classroom, helping kids along the way as they made their way through high school. He was a great friend to many people in our organization in addition to being a respected colleague.

Although Justin had been on leave since March 2024, he remained a cherished part of our district, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. We recognize that this news is difficult for many in our community, and we encourage anyone in need of support to seek help. Counselors and support staff will be available in the coming days to assist students and staff as we navigate this heartbreaking loss together. Grief affects everyone differently, and we want to ensure that resources are available for those who need them.

If your child is experiencing distress or needs to talk to someone about this tragic loss, please let us know by calling the Middle/Senior High School at 508-894-1220.
