John Parkman Arrested; Little Rock police make arrest in deadly Stagecoach Road stabbing

An arrest has been made by the Little Rock Police Department in relation to a fatal stabbing that occurred on Wednesday night.

John Parkman, 72, of Little Rock was taken into custody Thursday, according to officials. According to authorities, Parkman is charged with first-degree murder.

The Little Rock Police Department is looking into a fatal stabbing that left one person dead.

According to LRPD authorities, officers were called to the scene of a reported individual down at 5805 Stagecoach Road at 8:24 p.m. on Wednesday. Officers on the scene discovered a man with cuts on his neck and administered first aid until an ambulance could come. According to them, the injured man passed away at the nearby hospital.
