John Miller Jr Death; victim has been identified in a deadly fire in West Wyoming Wednesday evening

The victim of Wednesday night’s fatal fire in West Wyoming has been identified.

John Miller Jr., 79, perished in Wednesday’s fire when his neighbors failed to save him, Chief Turner told 28/22 News.

In the 500 block of West 8th Street in West Wyoming, a small apartment behind a garage caught fire at approximately 5:30 p.m.

After colliding with a pickup vehicle, the driver dies.
Firefighters discovered Miller, who resided in the unit, had not survived despite attempts by others to save him when they arrived on the scene.

The cause of the fire seems to have been unintentional, and crews were able to contain it.
