Jarrod Gentry Arrested; A guy was detained on accusations of domestic violence, child endangerment, and resisting arrest following a viral social media post depicting the alleged event.

Jarrod Gentry, 47, was arrested Friday afternoon on charges of two counts of felony domestic violence, two counts of child endangerment, and resisting arrest, according to Bakersfield police.

Police told 17 News that they were aware of the viral social media post and had received a report concerning the incident seen on film. The viral video depicts an incident that occurred on February 13 but was not reported to police until February 25.

The video appears to show a man spitting and kicking a woman outside of a home on Rodeo Avenue near Old Farm Road.

The two counts were for incidents based on the event depicted in the video and another incident on Friday, officials said.
