KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING IN BOULDER HILL NEIGHBORHOOD

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at approximately 8:29 PM in the 70-80 block of Sonora Drive in the Boulder Hill neighborhood.

Deputies responded to reports of possible gunfire near Sonora Drive and Saugatuck Road. Upon arrival, they discovered that a residence had been struck by gunfire. The home was unoccupied, and no injuries or additional property damage were reported.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident. Based on the information gathered so far, this appears to be an isolated occurrence, and there is no known ongoing threat to the community.
