Jamie Marler Car Accident; Deatsville woman identified as victim in Feb. 12 fatal crash in Autauga County

The bones of a Deatsville lady who died in a violent crash in Autauga County three weeks ago have been identified.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victim as 35-year-old Jamie E. Marler on Saturday.

At 8:15 p.m. on February 12, Marler was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Autauga County 39, close to Autauga County 87, approximately five miles west of Millbrook. The 2016 Buick Enclave she was driving veered off the road, collided with a tree, and caught fire, according to ALEA.

After being transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science, Marler’s identity was subsequently verified.

State officers are investigating the crash.
