Kalispell Police responded to a report of an unresponsive man shortly after 8:15 a.m., when a passerby discovered Matthew in the park. Authorities immediately responded to the scene and began gathering information to understand the circumstances surrounding his passing. Video footage from the area was reviewed, and at this time, officers report no indications of suspicious or criminal activity. An autopsy is currently underway to determine the official cause of death, as Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio confirmed that the investigation remains active.
