According to authorities, the fire broke out around 1:45 a.m., and despite the heroic efforts of Evansville firefighters and first responders, both Jeramya and Paxton were pronounced dead at the scene. A third child from the home was initially transported via air ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital and remains hospitalized on life support. Family members have shared concerns that the third child may have also passed away, though officials have not yet confirmed the child’s condition.
