DEFIANCE, Ohio – The community of Defiance County is mourning the tragic loss of Jennifer Bartlett, 47, of Alvordton, Ohio, who passed away on Thursday evening following a devastating traffic accident. The crash, which involved a teen driver in a Chevy Malibu and another vehicle, occurred just after 9 p.m. on Domersville Road near Flory Road in Adams Township.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, preliminary investigations indicate that the teen driver, traveling north on Domersville Road, crossed the center line and collided with Jennifer’s mini-van, leaving both vehicles disabled. Debris from the accident also struck a nearby pickup truck, though fortunately, its driver was unharmed. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, including the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office, Adams Township Fire, Defiance City EMS, South Richland EMS, ProMedica Air, and John’s Towing. Despite their swift and coordinated efforts, Jennifer tragically died at the scene.
