Kelli Schmitz Death, Obituary; Don Bosco High School’s one and only basketball cheerleader Kelli Schmitz Passed Away

Kelli Schmitz was Don Bosco High School’s one and only basketball cheerleader. She cheered for the boys and girls basketball trams at all home games. Her favorite color was purple.

Kelli was killed in a tragic two-vehicle crash in Black Hawk County on Tuesday morning and left a 22-year-old woman injured.

At approximately 7:13 a.m., Black Hawk County Deputies were dispatched to the scene of a crash involving a Jeep Cherokee and a Pontiac Sunfire in the 8000 block of Poyner Road.
