Ryan Nutting Death, Obituary; Rome, New York Resident, Project Manager of Connectors Rome City School District- Rome, New York Ryan Nutting Passed Away Unexpectedly.
I lost a friend. I have never been one to be able to separate “work” from “personal” well. I spend hours, days weeks and years with the wonderful people “I work with” many have become friends and family. Ryan Nutting was a friend, I loved seeing him walk-in in the morning, always with a smile and ALWAYS promptly at 7:00 on the dot! He was a helper. He was kind. He showed up! He was so proud to become a Project Manager and it was so deserved. I will miss him so much. I have been blessed to get to know his family much better, Tara Nutting is an amazing mom, who has been through so much, my heart aches for her and their kids. When you make friends, there is a chance you will lose them, I would still make friends with Ryan- he was a good guy- and I was proud to have him on my Team, Melissa Roys said via facebook post.
The world is cruel, punishing, unfair, most things do not make sense. This does not make sense, you should still be here. You were too young. You were and likely will always be the best human being I have had the pleasure to know. You were not just my friend, you were my brother, you were family. You were the most selfless, caring, loving, thoughtful, and protective individual. The world lost one of the great ones last night. Give your parents, my parents, your daughter, Gary and Marco a big hug on the other side. Your pain is over, rest in paradise Ryan Nutting. Until we meet again , another facebook post said.
His was so incredibly proud of his children Kristopher and Skylar and never hestitated to brag about his love for them as well as the love of his life and wife Tara. He was a mentor and a trusted adult to so many students. He was a coach to not only his own children but so many others. During the tornado in The City of Rome, NY he more than likely grilled half of the 69,000 hamburgers and if did not grill them, he certainly carried them during the couple of weeks of helping the devastated community.
His work ethic was admirable. He was kind. His positive, bright personality was contagious. He was a Helper- always looking and responding to anyone that needed a helping hand. Ryan showed up each day promptly at 7:00 with a smile on his face ready for whatever was going to come his way.
RIP Ryan Nutting
