ZANESVILLE, Ohio — The Zanesville and Duncan Falls communities are mourning the heartbreaking loss of 18-year-old Adam Cornelison, who tragically lost his life in a violent head-on collision on Saturday afternoon. The crash, which occurred on State Route 60 around 3:00 p.m., claimed the lives of Adam and two Newark residents, leaving families, friends, and neighbors devastated.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2025 Honda CR-V operated by Bradley Stanley of Newark was traveling northbound when it was struck head-on by a southbound 2010 Mercury Milan that crossed left of center. The driver of the Mercury, Adam Cornelison of Duncan Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers in the Honda were transported with critical injuries to Genesis Hospital, where they tragically passed away.

Adam was a young man full of promise, energy, and potential. Friends and family remember him as kind-hearted, joyful, and deeply committed to those he loved.
