In Loving Memory of Ryan Bishop
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we remember Ryan Bishop, a young man whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 26. Ryan passed away in the early morning hours after a devastating accident along M-65 in Alcona County, Michigan—a loss that has deeply shaken his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community.
Ryan was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado north on M-65 around 6:10 a.m. when his work truck left the roadway near Sawmill Road in Curtis Township. The vehicle went airborne in the ditch and struck a large tree, and despite the rapid response of emergency personnel, Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that speed and intoxication were not believed to be factors, and the investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
Yet beyond the circumstances of his passing, what truly matters is the life Ryan lived, the kindness he showed, and the light he brought into the lives of those around him.
Ryan was more than a hardworking young man; he was a son, a friend, a coworker, and a cherished presence to everyone who knew him. As an employee of Dubois Electric of Indian River, he was known for his dedication, reliability, and quiet determination.
